She's not happy and she opens up to Ayden about her past.
It's cute how they both act in front of each other.
Looking forward to reading more about Jason & Gabby, Aaron & Brandy and now Lilly & Ayden.
Book 3 of the series, and Ayden and Lily' s story. Lily is best friends with Gabby and Brandy from book 1 & 2. She has the reputation of always getting involved with the "wrong guy", but this time after a fiasco of a date, it is Ayden the brother of her friend Brandy that comes to the rescue. The book is about how the right guy has been in front of her all along, and finally she figures it out. I enjoyed the story and them finally coming together. So far enjoying this series.
This story is from Lily's POV. We didn't really get to know Lily in the other two books. It seems like everyone one of the characters have a deep dark secret. This book had me captivated from the beginning. While reading this book, I formed my own predictions and at one point I thought I was right, then it took me in a different direction. If you want a great book to read while cuddled up on your couch, BUY THIS ONE! Karice is an amazing writer.
Just finished the book and what a great story. Understand there are 3 more books coming soon in the series. (Can’t wait to read them)
Friendship is the key component of the first 3 books. Finding love along the way is an added benefit.
Having friends that are there for you no matter what is awesome!
Gabby, Brandy and Lily are great friends. Can’t wait to see what is next for them on the horizon. There will be road bumps along the way, but don’t we all have those?
Would like to see Mason have is own HEA down the road.

This book follows Lily's story. We learn that there is a lot more to her than we've come to believe from the past 2 books. Karice has an amazing ability to bring her characters to life. Right from the very beginning we are introduced to a character that I quickly felt disdain for and then turn around a couple pages later and we are reintroduced to a character that I fell in love with right away. Karice makes you want to be Lily's friend and makes you want to fall in love with Ayden and be a part of their world. I was sucked right in from the beginning and finished the book in no time. This is a great start to Lily's story but I'm nervous to see where Karice could possibly take some of the stories!! Cannot wait to find out more about Gabby & Jason in the next installment.
I truly enjoyed reading this book. I’ve followed the stories of the 3 ladies Brandy, Gabby and now Lily. Brandy and Gabby get this ‘idea’ about reconnecting their friend Lily with her high school love so she can be as happy as they are and once was. Reading the “cover” on what the book was about didn’t give much on who the HERO would be. And it was interesting to see Lily remember a love of so long ago, but still be open to possibilities. I like that she stayed true to herself and when she opened her heart to the one she wanted to be with. I enjoyed their conversation and connection.
Spoiler Alert – what I have to say I hated about this book is to learn that after the author has written 3 books for each of the ladies and their love stories, she’s going to go back and write a new book a continuation of the first – a continuation of Jason and Gabby’s story…I’m sorry but seriously?

Lily she strong yet weak,confident yet scared,she hides behind herself and wants everyone to have a good time "The life of the party" But deep down is so alone that not even her friends are aware of it. Now I do have to say Ayden is one hell of a man and who won't want him.

Lily has some fantastic qualities . As you see. So the question is what would one do if your best friends surprised you with a trip to meet up with your high school sweetheart or your first love?Would you embrace the opportunity ,or run like hell ??To face them and see if what you felt and think you feel even as a adult have the same feelings that you had back then and searching for that unbelievable excitement .
Austin the boy she was in love with in high school as grown up.Became a owner of a high class resort. He got everything going for him looks,money a outgoing personality ect.. Gabby and Brandy send him a email to see if he would be interested in meeting up with Lily the girl who had changed him.Can he face her,does he have the same feelings, will they get together,will the past come forward and show them what they both need to know.
Ayden one of Brandy's twin brothers is drop dead sexy.( I'm still in love with Jason) Brandy and her besties Gabby and Lily have spent time together for yrs,camping ,hiking ect.So everyone has a pretty strong closeness .Ayden has a few secrets that just about knocked my jaw out of place because I kept dropping it open. Ayden has his own agenda and if he holds tight he just might get it all or lose everything.
This is Karice's 13 th book and what a ride it was. I give this 5 stars because the storyline that is being told is so real and I can relate to about everyone of them.From Beyond Control to Beyond Reason. Now waiting for Beyond Intent !!!!
